Ghana U-20 midfielder Mohammed Kudus has expressed disappointment in FC Nordsjaelland's Europa League first-leg defeat to Serbian giants Partizan Belgrade.

The former Black Starlets star, who joined the Danish club in the summer, came on in the 65th minute of the 2-1 home defeat to Partizan Belgrade.

Despite the defeat, the 18-year-old is confident his side can overturn the tie in the second round.

He posted on Instagram," Not the results we wanted but we go again in the second leg."

Before the Ghanaian's introduction into the game, FC Nordsjaelland were down by two goals after Ricardo Gomes and Zoran Zakari had scored for the Serbians.

Meanwhile, the Ghanaian came on and was effective in the heart of midfield, helping his side pull one back Mathias Rassmussen in the 71st minute.

His compatriots, Clifford Antwi, Ibrahim Sadiq and Godsway Donyoh all missed the game.
