Ghana midfielder Gilbert Koomson is delighted to open his scoring account for SK Brann in the Norwegian Eliteserein in their 4-1 win over IK Start on Monday.
The 23-year-old has been knocking on the goalscoring door since joining the side from Sogndal at the start of the campaign.
His perseverance paid off on Monday when he netted a superlative strike in their 4-1 victory over IK Start.
The silky enforcer expressed his excitement at breaking his duck after weeks of coming during an interview with the club's official TV.
"It was amazing because I've been waiting for it for a long time. Not me but it's my fans who were texting me that they fell like I'm going to score today, so I dedicate this goal to them and everyone," Koomson stated.
"It's a perfect win, we did a great job so we just going to keep momentum, we have Molde away next week so we just going to keep the tempo and everything to get something from that match.'
He scored seven goals in 27 appearances for Sogndal IL last term.
