A release from the Disciplinary Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has indicated that eight (8) Ghanaian referees have been slapped with life bans from all CAF related football activities.

The decision by the board was taken last Sunday, 5th August 2018 after a meeting on the case of referees caught up in the Anas investigative piece and named by media as corrupt on CAF and federation matches.
