Egyptian giants Zamalek have finally parted ways with Ghanaian forward Benjamin Acheampong.

The two parties ended their relationship after the former Kumasi Asante Kotoko forward and the Egyptian club agreed to mutually go separate ways.

Acheampong's representative Wael Al Kharbtawi and the board of Directors of Zamalek came to an agreement after a long meeting to end the stay of the Ghanaian.

After the meeting, it was also agreed the player waives part of his dues in exchange for his final dispensation.

The 28-year-old has struggled to command a place in the team and was sent on loan in the second half of last season's campaign.

However, his return to the club has seen him become surplus to requirement and manager Christian Gross has no plans for the Ghanaian.

Meanwhile, there are reports in Egypt that Acheampong is likely to join Ta'al El Gaish.
