Ghanaian International Patrick Twumasi has completed his move from Astana to Spanish club Deportivo Alaves.
The Spanish side are preparing for the upcoming season and confirmed securing the services of Twumasi from the Kazakhstan club today.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian attacker signed a four-year deal with Alaves and will be looking to hit the ground running to impress his new coach in order to secure a first-team place. It is reported that Alaves has been on the heels of the attacker since last season before finally getting their man today.
Patrick Twumasi was a key player for Astana where he helped them clinch four League titles. Last season the enterprising attacker made over hundred (100) appearances for Astana and managed to score forty-eight (48) goals. The laudable performance earned him the best player of the club last season.
Having already signed, Borja Bastón, Jony and Ximo Navarro, Patrick Twumasi has become the fourth signing of the Spanish side as they look to strengthen their team for the season ahead.
Last Season Deportivo Alaves finished fourteenth on the league table with forty-eight points. Alaves will open their 2018/2019 season away at Barcelona and it might just be when Patrick Twumasi will mark his debut.
