Head Coach of the Black Satellites, Jimmy Coblah insists his side will be ready ahead of the final round of qualifier for the Africa Youth Championship against Benin.

Ghana has one more hurdle to cross in other qualify for Niger 2019 after missing the last edition two years ago.

The Black Satellites have begun preparations at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Pampram ahead of the game scheduled for August 4th at the Cape Coast stadium.

Coach Jimmy Coblah, who recalled the team some few weeks ago, says the players have been rusty due to the suspension of local football but believes they will be ready for Benin.

"The game was supposed to be on the 5th but the Princesses have a game on that day so the minister asked us to play on the 4th so that we will have the support of the country," he said.

"We all know what has been happening with Ghana Football, the players were inactive and when they came they were a bit rusty but we started pushing them and for now I can say that they are responding,' he added.

The Coach, who worked previously in a neighbouring country, Togo adds he has experience playing against the French colonized countries. He says he has people who have provided him with enough information on the Benin team.

"I Coached in Togo and I already had people watch the Benin team for me. So I think we are in for a big game. They have a fine team, they are very aggressive. I have watched them and we are polishing our tradition, you see, when you are coming up against opponents like that, you think of your game plan, the tactic and the system to deploy."

'We have been working and we are hopeful it will work,' he concluded.
