Former Black Stars goal keeper Anthony Osei Kwadwo has called on the former Kotoko management under Mr.George Edusei Poku, Georgido to come out and substantiate allegations that he got himself in bribery whilst playing for Kotoko. He said ever since he was transfered to ASHANTIGOLD, then GOLDFIELDS on the basis of taking bribe in a league game, he has never been able to forget the experience.
Osei Kwadwo who shared these lamentations on AUTHENTIC KAPITAL SPORTS from his base in Colombus, Ohio in the USA said he served Kotoko for over ten years under several managements and performed creditably only for the GEOGIDO administration to pay him back with unsubstantiated reports of bribery. He called on managements of the club to endeavour to reverend players who commit their all to the club so that even after leaving the club they will still have love and affection for the club. This way they can always come back to impact their experience on the team.
Osei Kwadwo who also played for the Senior National Team, the Black Stars commended the current team for their devoted efforts which has almost taken the nation to the World Cup for the first time in the history of the nation. He called for the needed last minute support for the team to ensure that Ghana is at the World Cup in Germany. He praised the Ghana Football Association as well the Ministry of Education and Sports for their massive contribution in how far the Blck Stars have come.
