#Number12: CID Invites RAG Chairman

Football News Number12: CID Invites RAG Chairman
JUL 11, 2018 LISTEN

The Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service has invited the Chairman of the Referees Association of Ghana, Mr Joe Bismarck Debrah their headquarters.

This comes after RAG request for a copy of the "Number 12" documentary by Amas Aremeyaw Anas from TigerEyePI which fingered over 80 match officials accepting bribe to change the outcome of matches.

Report says the CID invited Mr Debrah to hand him over a copy of the Number 12 expose so that his outfit can open a hearing for the referees and take the necessary actions to sanction those found guilty.

CAF has already provisionally suspended ten Ghanaian referees until August 5 when they appear before the Confederations Disciplinary Board.
