Some of the nation's best bodybuilders will be on parade at the Ohene Djan Stadium on Saturday when the much-awaited “Muscleflavour 2005 Night of Champions” qualifiers reaches the Greater Accra Region.

Obviously, bodybuilding fans will have a lot of fun to relish as the creme de la creme from the Accra-Tema metropolis flex their muscles in anticipation of a place in the December 16 grand final.

Among the finest bodybuilders expected to battle for positions on Saturday last year's champion, are Christopher Anto (alias Sabato), Arnold Aryee and Mustapha Richardson, last year's first and second runners-up respectively, hot contender Samuel Asante, a.k.a. Obuor, Richard Nsafoah and Prince Laryea.

The competitors, both old and new, will contest for honours in three different weight categories for those who impress the judges most to be picked for the December show.

According to the Chief Executive of Flavour Productions, Mr Abdul-Hayye Yartey, all is set for Saturday's show which is expected to attract many participants.

He urged interested bodybuilders to register at the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra at a fee of ¢100,000 just before the competition starts at 1p.m.

So far, 10 bodybuilders, five each from Cape Coast and Takoradi, have qualified for the national finals in December.

The next qualifier after Saturday's will be held at Kasoa on Saturday, October 1.
