Cape Coast, Sept. 16, GNA - Members of the Central Regional branch of Ghana Black Stars Supporters Union on Wednesday sent a message of congratulations to the Black Stars for their impressive performance during the Stars/Uganda match at the Baba Yara Sports stadium in Kumasi. A congratulatory message issued by the Regional Organiser of the Union, Mr Albert Oduro copied to the GNA Sports at Cape Coast, it said the Stars have made all Ghanaians proud for the achievement that has paved the way for their way to Germany 2006.
The message also commended the Stars Coach Ratomir Dujkovic and his technical men for their rich experience, which they said helped the Stars to reach this stage.
The Union asked the players not to be complacent but to train harder than before and engage in more international matches to enable them gain more experience.
They also appealed to corporate bodies and organisations to increase their sponsorship package to the Union to enable it send more supporters to cheer the Stars to victory in Cape Verde in October 2005.
