Italian Serie A outfit Sassuolo have rejected reports they are in contact with AS Roma for the possible sale of Ghanaian youngster Claud Adjapong this summer.
The right-back has been a revelation for the Italian side since current coach of AS Roma Francesco Di Eusebio promoted him to the Sassuolo first team in 2016.
He has made a total of 31 appearances scoring one goal and providing one assist.
And Francesco has targeted a reunion with him.
According to reports in the Italian media, Roma had started talks with Sassuolo over Adjapong and Berardi over the weekend but the director of Sassuolo has stated categorically that nothing has happened.
'We have not had contact with Roma for any player at the moment,' Sassuolo director general Giovanni Carnevali Carnevali told Centro Suono Sport.
