PUMA To Investigates Former GFA Boss Kwesi Nyantakyi

Ghana's kits manufacturers PUMA is set to investigate former president of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi.

Mr Nyantakyi has made the headlines for the bad reasons after the airing of the Anas Aremeyaw Anas exposé dubbed "Number 12" last week.

Nyantakyi who has been slapped with a 90 days ban by the Ethics Committee of FIFA was filmed taking $65,000 in cash from undercover reporters TigerPI posing as businessmen who expressed interest in sponsoring the Ghana Premier League.

However, the astute lawyer took the conversation to another level by involving the name of the president Nana Akufo Addo, vice president Dr Bawumia and the Minster and Deputy of Roads to solicits money from the supposed investors.

Reports have emerged that PUMA is set to review all their previous contract with Mr Nyantakyi after he was filmed in the Anas Aremeyaw Anas video.

PUMA have been sponsoring the various national teams with the inclusion of Beach Soccer with equipment.

It was reported that Kwesi Nyantakyi refused to give one Ranford Antwi his share who broke the deal.

Kwesi Nyantakyi has resigned as the president of the country's football governing body on Friday after a meeting with the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association.

However, a statement was released by Mr Nyantakyi apologizing to the president, the vice president and all ministers for using the name of the president wrongly but admitted no wrongdoing insisting he was scammed.

Astonishingly, Mr Nyantakyi who is also the president of WAFU Zone B has resigned and have also relinquished his position as the FIFA Council Member on Monday.

PUMA has been the kits sponsor of the Black Stars for the past 10 years.
