Ghana international, Kingsley Sarfo has been sentenced to two years and 8 months in prison in Sweden for raping two underage girls.
And on Friday, a Malmo District Court presided over prosecutor Rikard Darell passed judgment on the former Sirius midfielder as he has been sentenced to two-years and eight-month jail sentence.
The midfielder will be deported after serving his prison sentence.
Sarfo was fined 150000 SEK in damages to the girls.
BACKGROUND...
On 30 September 2017 Sarfo was requested to be arrested following accusations of one case of attempted rape, and two cases of child rape.
As a result of the arrest, Sarfo was suspended from playing for Malmö FF, a suspension that was lifted on 11 January 2018 awaiting the legal process to be completed.
On 31 January 2018, Sarfo once again was arrested by the Swedish police, suspected of five cases of child rape against another individual under the age of 15. He was convicted to prison on June 8th, 2018.
