Kotoko Nominate For Players For Player Of The Month Award In May

Asante Kotoko has nominated striker Yacouba Songne, goalkeeper Felix Annan, winger Emmanuel Gyemfi and defender Wahab Adams for the player of the month of May.

The quartet lived up to expectation as the Porcupine Warriors finished the first round in style beating Champions Aduana Stars 2-1 in matchday 15.

Yacouba Songne has been in a stunning form, helping the Porcupines Warriors go on an impressive run of four games without a loss.

The Burkinabe international has scored three goals in the Zylofon Cash Premier League so far since joining the MTN FA Cup holders over the course of the summer.

Wahab Adams has been exciting and a mainstay in defense for his club with his gritty display since joining them from Aduana Stars in the offseason.

Emmanuel Gyamfi has been stupendous in the month of May for the Porcupine Warriors. He scored the only goal in his club's 1-0 win over Bechem United in the Match Week 12 of the Zylofon Cash Premier League.

Felix Annan has kept two clean sheets for the former Ghana Premier League champions in the month of May.

The promising youngster has already won the award in the month of March.

Also, he's bagged three Zylofon Cash Premier League Man-Of-The-Match Awards so far.
