Spanish lower tier side, UD Melila's goalkeeper says Ghanaian International Richard Boateng is ready for a new adventure and may seize any opportunity he gets.

The Ghanaian midfielder has emerged on the radar of Real Oviedo after an impressive campaign with Melila, where he scored 14 goals from 31 appearances. His goal against Jumilla was voted goal of the season in the Segunda B.

Last week Real Oviedo Coach Juan Antonio Anquela confirmed interest in the 25-year-old, indicating the younger brother of former Black Stars midfielder Derek Boateng is a prime target for the club.

Teammate of Boateng, Dani Barrio believes the midfielder is ready for a new adventure.

"He has had a spectacular season, he has scored 14 goals in midfield, he arrived just at the end of the market, it took him a bit longer to adapt, and if he had not been in 20 so many quietly," he told BE Sports in Austria.

"The defense does not detect him, he knows how to get on very well in the second line and with the ball on his feet he has quality, he has scored great goals from outside the area, he has a good shot, he knows how to move very well in the area, he has that smell that other players cannot explain it but he has it ", added the Asturian goalkeeper.

"I talked to him, I asked, and I said jokingly that have to pay me a percentage because I am selling well. I do not know if it has signed, that I know. I told him if he comes is a good team, a good city and wherever you go is your time, you have to take advantage of this opportunity, you are prepared, you are a professional, a stable person, calm and very good people ".
