Goalkeeper Felix Annan has won the Kotoko/Forms Capital Player of the Month award for April.

It is the second time the young shot-stopper has won the award, having collected the maiden edition's in March this year.

Felix Annan has enjoyed a stunning campaign at Kotoko this season, and he beat competition from midfielder, Jackson Owusu, winger, Emmanuel Gyamfi, and striker Frederick Boateng.

He kept the post in all of Kotoko's Premier League games this season, including the 7 matches played in April.

He kept 2 clean sheets in all, but his presence and quality were felt in each of the games as he made not less than three goal-bound saves per game.

"I am very happy to be winning the award for the second consecutive time, and I dedicate it to the other three players I competed with and the entire team", said the goalkeeper who many believe is the best on the local scene currently. "Each one of my competitors deserved the award."

"Football is a team sport and as a goalkeeper, I start our attacks and is also the last line of defense. We attack as a group and defend as a group, and there is no doubt that I couldn't have made most of my saves had it not been for how well we defended. It is for all of us, and not just me."
