Cape Coast, Sept. 5 GNA - Cape Coast 'Count Your Blessing' cards club played a determined game to clinch 12 points to lift the Fetu Afahye Cards Cup at a cards tournament held at the Cape Coast Victoria Park to mark the Oguaa Fetu festival on Saturday.
The tournament sponsored by Food Tech, Limited of Accra, producers of Snappy Peanut attracted six cards clubs in the Cape Coast Municipality. Mr Joseph Ewusi Eghan, the Company's Secretary presented some of the Snappy Peanuts to the participating clubs.
The other clubs are 'Eye Bless' and 'Sharp Stars' who had six points each followed by 'Cintaya' and 'Adom Sounds' with three points each. Mr Daniel Sackey, President of the Central Regional Cards Association expressed his gratitude to the company for sponsoring the tournament and appealed to other companies and financial institutions to come to the assistance of the association to make it a sustainable sport in the region. 05 Sept. 05
