Editor-in-chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has revealed that Ghana Football Association officials attempted to bribe investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

The ace investigative journalist is on the verge of releasing his latest piece which has been named "Number 12" and centred on politics on June 6 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Mr Baako has previously disclosed to the public that Anas latest piece is a dynamite and the reputation of the personalities involved cannot be redeemed.

Multiple reports have emerged that, member of the GFA planned to place an injunction in the video that is yet to be released.

However, speaking on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV on Thursday, the ace journalist who was furious with how some section of football administrators are condemning Anas revealed that officials of the country’s football governing body tried to bribe him [Anas] not to release the video.

“Did you know that GFA officials tempted to bribe Anas?” he quizzed.

“When the GFA officials find out that he [Anas] is on the verge of releasing such piece, they gave money to a certain lawyer who is close to Anas to prevent him from releasing the video, but the lawyer was scared and sent the money back to the GFA and told them he is afraid of Anas and they know what I am saying is the truth.

“I must say that lawyer, is a prominent lawyer but what I want to tell the public is that nobody can tell what Anas should do and when he should come out with his work.” He added.
