MATCH REPORT: Aduana Sees Off Liberty
Aduana Stars played Liberty Professionals today at the Dormaa Park as part of clearing their outstanding matches in the Ghana Premier League.
The Fire Boys went into the game very low on the league table among teams battling relegation but with a huge advantage because they have six-game which if they are able to get maximum points will take them up to top four and possibly top of the league.
Bright Adjei broke the virginity of the game to give Aduana Stars the lead on the 15th minute. Just 15 minutes later after that equalizer, Ikama Ulitch added another one to make it two zero for the defending champions.
Simon Zibo, however, pulled one back for liberty Professionals some few minutes before halftime.
The second half of the game was characterized by good displays from both sides as Liberty tried to get something out of the match.
Aduana got an all-important insurance goal courtesy a goal from Yahaya Mohammed. Bright Andoh managed to score a second goal for the visitors but it was not enough as Aduana won the game by three goals to one at the end of ninety minutes.
Liberty Professions went into this game looking to build upon their win against Karela United after going on a five games winless streak but unfortunately, Aduana had too much in their locker for them.
The Lose means Liberty’s struggles in the Premier League continues as they battle for survival with teams down the league log in hope of escaping relegation even though the league is still young.
