Sekondi, August 31, GNA - Premier division campaigners, Sekondi Hasaacas has advised the Management of Takoradi-based Skyy FM radio station to end forthwith its agenda to put the Management of the Club into disrepute.
The Club accused Mr. George Kuntu Blankson, head of Sports and Mr. Andrews Akanvani, a sports presenter of the station of trying to destabilise the Club by causing disaffection and hatred between Management and supporters of the club through its sports programmes. These were contained in 'a strong-worded' letter to the Chief Executive Officer of the radio station and copied to the GNA Sports in Takoradi on Wednesday.
Mr. Wilfred Essel-Ackom, Public Relations Officer of Hasaacas who signed the letter, catalogued many instances when the sports programmes of Skyy were used to castigate and insult the Management of Hasaacas and also sought to create enmity between the Club and Sekondi Wise Fighters, a Second Division Club.
"We the management of Sekondi Hasaacas will like to send this final warning letter as we have swallowed our anger for far too long and human as we are, we cannot be restrained any longer".
The letter said, "Mr. Kuntu Blankson and his cohorts are out to cause mischief and anarchy to achieve their diabolical agenda to ensure the collapse of Hasaacas", adding that Management would not sit down unconcerned to allow them to achieve their selfish aims.
The letter said Management of the Club could therefore not guarantee the safety and security of Mr. Kuntu Blankson at the Club's matches. 31 Aug. 05
