Cape Coast, Aug. 28, GNA - The management of Cape Coast Venomous Vipers on Saturday appointed Nana Gyepi as an assistant coach for the Club.
Mr Kweku Tandoh, Chairman of the Club who disclosed this to the GNA Sports said the decision was taken to strengthen the team towards its qualification for the current (Zone Two B) Division Two League. He said that it is hoped that Mr Shaibu Madugu, the Senior Coach of the Club would co-operate with his assistant to prepare the team to improve on its performance.
Nana Gyepi, a former coach of Dwarfs who prepared Dwarfs to the elite division was dismissed by management of Dwarfs following the abysmal performance of the Club in the current Premier League. In an interview with Nana Gyepi he confirmed his appointment with the Club and promised to put up his expertise at the disposal of the club.
