Blame Appointment Committee For Nuhu Liman's Assault - Nana Oduro Sarfo

Berekum Chelsea chief, Nana Oduro Sarfo has attributed referee Nuhu Liman's assault to the Referee's Appointment Committee of the Ghana Football Association.

The experienced centreman was assaulted by some supporters Elmina Sharks in the matchday 8 fixture against Medeama SC at the Nduom Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

According to the astute football administrator, this is the second time the said referee has been beaten, saying he expected the appointment committee to investigate the first incident before handing him another game to officiate.

“I blame the Football Association appointment and review committees for allowing referee Liman to officiate another game on the heels of him been beaten at Golden City already. It was too early to put him back on the field," he told Asempa FM.

“Referee Liman is a bad influence on referees and must be retired. He even insulted me in the presence of the other referees in the dressing room when I approached him in the first instance at Berekum and he told me I was an old fool," Oduro Sarfo alleged.
