Agbozume Weavers Bow To Uncle T

Agbozume Weavers on Wednesday surrendered 0-1 to visiting Uncle T United in their mid-week game in Agbozume.

Skipper Adom Ampofo's perfect spot-kick separated the two sides in a game which saw the two sides display good football despite the undulating nature of the pitch.

Few scoring chances came the way of both sides with the home side hitting the metal work after recess.

President of Uncle T United, Isaac Tetteh (TT Brothers), in a post-match interview, described his side's performance as satisfactory.

“We came in for a win and they did just that; picking all points from away is no mean achievement. Our team underrated them, but we realized they were not pushovers. I congratulate my team for a good job done.

“We will keep working hard especially on the attack, we have to score more goals. I want the team to get to the place where all the attackers can score,” said TT Brothers.

On Sunday, Uncle T, who are unbeaten will stay home (Prampram) to play Mighty Jets.
