The 2018 edition of the Kiddy Mile race was held on Saturday at the El Wak Sports Stadium in Accra with about 1500 children from over 40 schools assembling to compete in track races, obstacle course and other fun activities.

Kids between the ages of 3-15 years were involved in series of fun activities focused on the creating awareness of staying health.

Mrs Catherine Morton, the Race Director expressed delight with the enthusiasm of the kids who participated in this year’s event as it demonstrated how passionate they were about staying fit and living a healthy life.

She said “It was a great turnout and we’re impressed with the performance of the kids and their enthusiasm to come and participate in this race.

“If you want to inculcate a healthy habit and if you want people to be passionate about what they do you must start when they are young.
