Former Asante Kotoko coach, Steven Pollack has left the shores of the country nearly a month after the Dr Kyei led administration parted ways with him after failing to qualify the club to next round of the 2018 CAF Confederations Cup campaign.

Pollack joined the former Premier League champions in the middle of 2017 from Berekum Chelsea following the team’s disappointing form which saw the team go on an eight-match winless streak under Croatian coach, Zdravko Lugarusic.

A deadly motor accident involving Kotoko’s team bus on the Nkawkaw stretch of the Accra-Kumasi Highway on July 12, 2017, affected Pollack’s revival efforts at Kotoko but ended the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season at the 5th place on the league table and won the MTN FA Cup defeating their bitterest rivals, Hearts of Oak 3:1 at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
