Newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Hearts of Oak, Mark David Noonan has fumed about the delay of the Ghana Premier League.

Accra Great Olympics have placed a second court injunction on the commencement of the 2018 Ghana Premier League seeking for a fair hearing after the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association failed to give them a fair hearing after filing a protest against Bechem United for fielding an unqualified player last season.

And with the commencement of the GPL yet to be decided by the country’s football governing body, the American has expressed his disappointment about the delay of the Premier League during the unveiling of the club's 13 players ahead of the campaign and asked the FA to put measures in the right place to solve the issue amicably..

“I’m very disappointed that that’s the case. It is a situation I have never seen before and the fact that it’s a pretty simple issue.

“Was the player legal or not and why must it takes a court of law to solve that?” Noonan quizzed.

Noonan who was appointed last week as Hearts CEO was introduced to the media last Wednesday at the World Trade Center.
