"Kotoko management were calling Liberty Professionals officials prior to the match with the offer to fix the match but was refused", Oduro Sarfo told FOX FM in Kumasi.

The outspoken football administrator who is the manager of Ernest Sowah also threatened to expose the club if they don't shut up.

"They should dare me and I will reveal further things to their dismay. Liberty are very angry at Kotoko for that accusation they levelled against Sowah, and if Liberty should open up now Kotoko will be left broke.”

But in a letter signed and titled “Apology and Retraction” by Oduro Sarfo on Friday, February 23 and addressed to the management of Asante Kotoko, the offender [Nana Oduro Sarfo] said, “Please kindly take notice of the above-mentioned subject, am by this correspondence, sincerely apologizing as well as statement I made on various radio sports programs especially on Fox FM and Nhyira FM in Kumasi.

“I stated categorically that Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club Limited attempted fixing the last matchday 30 against Liberty Professionals FC through a telephone conversation, which was unfounded there was no iota of truth in what I published.

“Without hesitation, am genuinely writing officially to retract and apologize to Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sports Club and its massive supporters for the pain I have caused the fraternity and ask for their forgiveness.

“I know the inconvenience, the damage I have caused to the club and the effect of damage could only be repaired by coming out to refute the allegation I made, it was made out of pains when a faceless personality posted an audio recording spewing lies against my client Ernest Sowah and myself.

“This could have been avoided if I had taking advice given to me by people concern; I promise it will not happen again.
