Tennis Association invites 18 players for justifier

Accra, Aug 8, GNA - The Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) has invited 18 players for a special selection exercise at the D.G. Hathiramani Sports Hall of the Accra Sports Stadium between August 12-13.

The special exercise is to select players to form a formidable team towards the impending international friendly against South Africa. Among the players invited to form the male category of the team are Solomon Akonnor, Joe Sam and Eric Addo of CEPS, Aikings Acquah and Courage Nanevie from the Ghana Navy, Kwame Ampofo and Eric Agyemang of Kwanyako, Joe Osei, Fire, Nana Yaw Boateng, Koforidua and Ali Mohamed Police respectively.

The female squad includes Esther Lamptey and Beatrice Gyasi from the Police Service, Evelyn Keevis and Stella Yeboah of CEPS, Cecilia Baah Danso and Akosua Ketu from Swedru, Afua Oforiwaa from Cape Coast and Lucy Addo from Kwanyako.
