The Black Queens of Ghana have booked their place in the semi-finals of the ongoing WAFU championship after beating Burkina Faso 4-1 in Group A final game on Sunday.
Mercy Tagoe and her ladies needed a win against the Burkinabe to aid their progression to the semi-finals of the competition.
The Queens took a two-goal lead in the first half through Portia Boakye and Grace Asantewaa.
After the break, Priscilla Okyere scored the third goal before Burkinabe then pushed forward and they reduced the deficit.
However, Portia then grabbed his brace to restore Ghana’s three-goal advantage.
Black Queens will now meet Group B winners Nigeria in the semi-finals.
