Vitoria Guimaraes Boss Applauds Alhassan Wakaso Despite Defeat To Boavista

Vitoria Guimaraes coach, Pedro Martins has praised Alhassan Wakaso for his performance despite his sides 1-0 defeat to Boavista.

The former Lorient midfielder enjoyed the full duration of the game and was adjudged the best player for his side who put up a very lame performance.

"I think that the performance was not that good but for Wakaso most of the players did not just show up today,' Martins told the press after the game

"We are not too far from the top and we have to continue working hard and avoid performances like this," he added.

Guimaraes are 8^th on the league table while Boavista who are having a great season are 6^th on the league log.
