English Championship side Leeds United have reacted to the manager Thomas Christiansen's revelation that striker Caleb Ekuban is due to resume training in a fortnight.
Ekuban has not played for the Lilly-Whites since August 19 after breaking a bone in his foot during their 2-0 victory over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
The 23-year-old underwent a surgery to correct the injury but manager Christiansen has given an update on the Ghanaian poacher ahead of their Saturday's clash against Cardiff City, claiming that he's expected to return to the pitch in two weeks.
Ekuban has netted just once in seven appearances for the side since joining in the summer for £500,000 from Italian club Chievo Verona.
Despite his poor return of goals, Ekuban enhanced his reputation with a number of full-blooded and energetic displays which endeared him to the United faithful.
And Leeds fans have reacted well to Christiansen's update.
