Ghanaian midfielder Richard Boateng handed UD Melilla three maximum points in their 1-0 victory over Real Murcia in the Spanish Segunda Division B on Sunday.
Boateng, who joined Melilla at the start of the season on a one-year deal from Extremadura UD, scored in the 56th minute of the game to hand his side the three points at the Estadio Nueva Condomina.
The former Granada midfielder was replaced with Nando in the 62nd minute as coach Manolo Herrero shore up his team's defence.
The victory takes Melilla to 5th place with 37 points after 23 games.
