Division One: Zaytuna pip Mariners

Accra Aug. 1 GNA - Zaytuna F/C, formerly known as Stay Cool grabbed the maximum three points when they beat visiting Great Mariners F/C 1-0 in their Division One league match at Indafa Park in Accra on Sunday. Zaytuna who are at the sixth position on the league table with only four points, sprang into action right from the referee's whistle and managed to force the tide in their favour and got the only goal of the match through Richard Addo.
Great Mariners who have won three matches from five games and lie on the second sport with eleven points, made changes to strengthen their midfield but this did not yield any result until the referee blew his whistle for the end of the first half.
The second session saw a balanced game but no goals were recorded for the end of regulation time.
