Binatone Skate Soccer Challenge Cup Scheduled For Jan 20

The Binatone Challenge Cup comes off on January 20, 2018, at the Tennis Court of the Accra Sports Stadium.

Four teams have been invited to play in the tournament namely Western Tigers, Zongo Lions, Accra Giants and Ashanti Warriors. This tournament is a preparation for players of the national team called the Rolling Rockets ahead of the Skate Soccer Africa Cup of Nations in March.

This local friendly tournament will be the second local match organized by the IFSS and Binatone. This game promises to be exciting and highly charged.

This will be the first tournament being organised locally by the International Federation of Skate Soccer (IFSS) an NGO committed to the development of the physically challenged members of our society (particularly polio victims).

The IFFS last year organised a match between the Accra Giants and Ashanti Warriors. The Ashanti warriors won after 90 minutes of great talent display on the pitch.

Albert Frimpong, Founder of Skate Soccer appealed to the media to give the event much publicity to raise the moral and image of the players who is disabled but strong in the mind.
