Hundreds of supporters of league leaders Kumasi Asante Kotoko on sunday after watching their darling club pipping Ashantigold in the epic G.T premier league match at the Baba Yara sports stadium demonstrated with placards.
The supporters chanting war songs accused Ghalca boss, Mr. J.Y Appiah as enemy of progress. They went further to say that, from their reliable source J.Y Appiah is doing everything possible to use his office to influence the Disciplinary Committee of the GFA to rule in favour of Bofoakwa Tano on the pending protest filed by Kotoko against the registration Bofoakwa's goalkeeper Shaibu Mohammed.
The demonstrators filed infront of the V.I.P lounge with their placards with some threathening inscriptions such as; "J.Y Appiah must leave Kotoko alone or ..." , "J.Y. Appiah hates Kotoko" , "J.Y. Appiah must go or no Top 4 for Kotoko this year" , etc!
The demonstration was witness by the Head of Administration and Public Affairs Dept of Asante Kotoko.
When the Ghalca boss J.Y Appiah was contacted, he described their actions as "CHILDISH".
