Cape Coast, July 24, GNA - Panafest Youth Club emerged the Cape Coast Municipal Youth Club champions in a special soccer gala tournament at the Robert Mensah Sports stadium, Cape Coast on Saturday. They beat Neighbourhood Youth Club 1-0 in the finals of the tournament to carry the day.
After a goalless first half, Panafest Youth Club came back strongly in the second half to score the match winner through their midfielder, James Azare in the 63rd minute.
Six Youth Clubs participated in the tournament organised by the Red Cross Society to mark the International Red Cross Day and the Panafest Day.
The other participating teams are Catholic Youth Organisation, Evangelical Methodist Youth, Red Cross and Yes FM.
