“This award is well deserved and testament to all the hard work, training and teaching that Lawrence has put into his life and his students at the DFC Sports in Switzerland” said Danny Gwira, President and Founder of the African Goju.

He said Lawrence is a full-contact fighter and member of the World Kickboxing Federation; the brother and student of African Goju life patron and Hall of Fame member Great Warrior Emmanuel Nmai and is now fighting professionally around Europe. In the mid-Nineties, Emmanuel moved from Ghana to Switzerland and introduced African Goju to that country.

Danny Gwira added that Lawrence is always busy constantly training and teaching his many students and his enthusiasm for the martial arts is a joy to behold. Because of Emmanuel and Lawrence’s influence, African Goju has now filtered into Germany, Austria and Italy.

“Congratulations Champ! Please keep on doing what you do. You are an inspiration to the new generation of African Goju students. Roooarrr!!!...Ssssss!!!” he added.
