Senegal's Krepin Diatta and Patson Daka of Austrian side FC Liefering and Mali starlet Salam Giddou of Guidars who starred at the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup made the cut.
CAF president Dr Ahmad Ahmad supervised the ceremony in Accra on Monday, 18 December 2017.
The winner will be announced at the Awards Gala which will take place on Thursday, 4 January 2018 in Accra, Ghana.
