Organizers for the 2nd GT Oddoye Memorial Junior tennis championship, Accra Lawn Tennis Club have indicated that registration for the event ends this Saturday.
This year's edition of the annual championship is scheduled from December 18-23, at the Accra Lawn Tennis Club (ALTC) in Accra.
Tournament coordinator, Peter Annan and Dr Adrian Oddoye of the Akai House Clinic said the competition will be played in several age categories including boys and girls U-10, U-12, U-14 U-16 and U-18.
According to Annan, registration for the tournament has begun with forms deposited at the ALTC and Accra Sports Stadium with coaches Henry Quansah and Yaya MacCauley as contacts.
He said forms for players in the U-10 to U-14 division would be sold for GH¢5.00 with the U-16s and U-18s going for GH¢10.00.
According to him, the draws for the championship will be held on Sunday December 17 ahead of the opening round of matches the following day.
At stake will be attractive prizes for winners.
