Kofi Mbeah of Starlets fame loses wife


Cape Coast, July 17, GNA- Mrs Joyceline Mbeah, the wife of Kofi Mbeah, former player of Black Starlets is reported to have died at the St. Jan Hospital, Belgium.

Mbeah, a prolific footballer played for Assin Foso Soccer Missionaries, Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs and also featured for the Black Starlet in 1989 and 1991.

The player is now domiciled in Belgium and plays for OOSTKANP F/C. According to Mr Frank Mbeah Koufie, senior brother of Kofi Mbeah, the body of the late Mrs Mbeah would be flown to Ghana and laid in state at the Centre for National Culture (CNC), Cape Coast, on July 23 for burial he next day at Asokyeano.
