Marwako Fetes La XI Champs

Management of Marwako Fast Food Ltd has feted La Town XI Football team, winners of the just-ended McDan Ga-Adangbe Unity Cup at its La branch in Accra.

In attendance as Special Guest of Honour was the La Mantse, Dr Nii Kpobi Tettey Tsuru, who officially received the giant trophy they won at the expense of their Tema counterparts.

The La Mantse commended the team for the honour done his community and blessed them to replicate the feat in their future engagements.

In like manner, the Marketing Manager of Marwako Food Ltd, Mohammed Amin Lamptey, hailed La Town XI for emerging tops.

He intimated that Marwako is proud to be associated with champions and urged the people of La and Accra to join the champions to celebrate. He informed the gathering that Marwako has branches in Abelemkpe, Spintex, Mamobi and Labadi.

General Manager of Marwako Food Ltd., Ziyad Zaabalawi, said “Your victory has brought joy, inspiration and motivation to individuals and the people of La, as well as the business community because football is a tool for advertising and creating peaceful coexistence.

“We became your supporters automatically by virtue of the fact that the venue for the games is behind our restaurant. We are proud of you, don't relent. We believe you will enjoy our tasty meal. ”

Chairman of La XI, Ernest Tetteh (Shoney) expressed thanks to the management of Marwako for the recognition and support.

The La Mantse was accompanied by Nii Oteng-Abafum Mantse and Nyonmostaa Wulomo, all elders of the La Traditional Council.
