Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Inter Allies Delali Senaya believes the newly appointed coach of the club, Kenichi Yatsuhashi will transform the team next season.

The American-Japanese trainer will take over from Karim Zito, who managed to steer the club out of relegation last season with a mandate to turn the fortunes of the La-based outfit when the upcoming season kicks off.

'He is a good coach who is very disciplined, serious and scientific in his approach to the game,' Mr Senaya said of their new coach.

He added, "Because he managed to transform Accra Hearts of Oak.'

Details of the contract was kept under wraps, but the deputy CEO believes the limited options on the local scene as far as coaches were concerned also informed their choice of the expatriate trainer. He was confident Kenichi would replicate his transformational abilities to Inter Allies.

The Japanese trainer will be the third coach to handle the club in recent times after Prince Owusu was axed during the season to allow his assistant, Abdul Karim Zito, to take charge and help the club survive the relegation battle.

Kenichi will bring his wide range of experience to bear on Inter Allies after he also terminated his contract with Nigerian side, FC Ifeanyi Ubah, last year following what he described as interference with his job.

The Japanese have credited for the resurgence of Hearts about two seasons ago when he turned the team into a winsome one which attracted more spectators to the stadium for Hearts matches.
