Owen Hargreaves Blasts Andre Ayew

Former England international Owen Hargreaves was not impressed with Andre Ayew's performance for West Ham United in their Wednesday's 4-0 mauling against Everton.

The former Olympique Marseille attacker was brought in as a replacement for the injured Andy Carroll but often looked isolated up top, as West Ham got battered by the Toffees.

Everton picked up a 4-0 victory over David Moyes' side at the Goodison Park, to inflict further misery on the struggling Hammers.

The deputy Black Stars captain was far from the only West Ham player to fall short against the Toffees, but Hargreaves believes his lack of impact up-front did not help David Moyes' side's cause.

'Ayew, you didn't even see him at point in the game.'

West Ham's next three games come against Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal and Moyes' side will simply have to improve if they are to collect any points and move out of the relegation zone.
