NOV 25, 2017 LISTEN

Hearts of Oak's Administrative Manager has angrily called the bluff of players whose contracts have run out and are seeking to leave the club claiming they are not indispensable.

The club's top scorers Thomas Abbey and Kwame Kizito with 13 and 7 goals respectively have their contracts expired with the Phobians and could be leaving as free agents.

In-form defenders Vincent Atingah and Fatau Mohammed as well as midfielder Leonard Tawiah general captain Robin Gnange and left back Ghandi Kassenu have all seen the tail ends of their contracts with the Phobians.

Atingah who waited patiently for a contract extension with the club eventually secured an exit from the club by seeking for a floating status while Abbey is currently training with South African outfit Ajax Cape Town with Kizito leaving for BK Hacken in Sweden.

Embittered by the moves by the players, the Administrator-cum-Accountant of the club has hit hard at the players saying, 'The club will move on without those players.'

Hackman explained that Hearts wanted to extend the contracts of the players but all arrangement hit a snag because the players were not ready.

'Hearts of Oak management tried their best to renew the players' contracts but the players didn't want to put pen to paper,' Aidoo told Asempa FM.

'The club wanted to renew their deals but the players and their managers didn't want to renew,' he retorted.

'This is not the first time a player has decided not to renew his contract at Hearts of Oak, Torric Jibril did the same thing… but the club went on,' he blasted.

The trouble-hit Hearts of Oak risk losing all the players whose contracts have run out and stand a greater risk of losing mercurial midfielder Winful Cobbinah, Patrick Razak, Samudeen Ibrahim and other classy players who have just a year left on their contract and are yet to extend following the dramatic manner they are handling their contractual issues.
