Eric Ayiah Aiming To Captain Black Stars In The Near Future

Black Starlets captain, Eric Ayiah reiterated his desire to captain the Black Stars in the near future.

The skilful midfielder produced some electric performance in the Africa Youth Championship that was held in Gabon but unfortunately lost the ultimate to Mali and also led the Starlets team to the quarterfinals of the U-17 FIFA World Cup that was staged in India.

Despite failing to lift the ultimate in both competitions, the Charity Stars FC player is aiming to captain the senior national team in the near future.

“These criticisms motivates me a lot especially the bad ones. I just want my fans to pray for me so I can progress with my captain’s band to the U-20 and even to the Black Stars,” he told Starr Sports.

Ayiah was honoured with a ceremonial match on Wednesday by his manager for his leadership role at the two youth tournaments.
