A two-day community U-17 football programme dubbed: 'The Kings Football Tournament' would come off at the Gbawe Cluster of Schools Park in Accra from Saturday, November 25 to 26.

The tournament, which is non-residential, would feature eight Colts' teams.

The game is aimed at supporting committed and professional young players and their teams to unearth talents and to get recognition by other big clubs.

Mr Michael Anfo Aesel, the General Secretary of the Accra North Football Association and the Administrator of Noble Arrics FC, made this known in an interview with the GNA Sports.

He said: 'The Kings Football Tournament has put in place good arrangements to ensure a smooth and professional competitive football, and we are hoping that the teams will feature players who have developed their football tactics and techniques.'

Mr Aesel said organisers would guarantee the players safety during the tournament and would work hard to ensure the best environment for the competition.

He appealed to coaches, managers, referees and players to assist and cooperate with him for a successful tournament.
