Hundreds of individuals drawn from supporters unions, keep-fit clubs and individuals, participated in the first-ever 'Run For Greatness' campaign organized by the Ghana Armwrestling Federation (GAF) in partnership with the Trillium Industry.
The campaign was to officially launched the newest energy drink in Ghana - Run Energy drink and to further popularized one of the fastest growing sports in Ghana - Armwrestling.
The campaign, which started from the Accra Girls High School with a 7-kilometre walk to the Labadi Pleasure Beach amidst drumming and dancing, with a brass band and record music.
The walk was patronized by supporters unions, keep fit clubs, individuals where were thrilled with brass band music and record music.
It was climaxed with the actual launch at the beach with musical performances from some artists.
Mr Charles Osei Asibey, the President of GAF said he was impressed with the activities and was confident the partnership with Run Energy Drink would be successful.
He stated "I am impressed with the activities right from the walk to the lunch of the Run Energy Drink. Run energy drink is good for sportsmen and women and I would urge all to patronize because it has no side effects.
