Hearts of Oak midfielder Leonard Tawiah insists he is not playing the club for money.
Tawiah is mooted to be on his way out of Hearts of Oak for a more lucrative move to one of the local clubs after his stellar season last term.
But according to the midfield dynamo, he's not after money because his aim is to leave the shores of Ghana to a higher Championship.
'I appreciate any money that comes on my way from Hearts of Oak, even if it's one Ghana cedi because playing in Ghana is not my target now," Tawiah said on OTEC FM.
'Getting to the highest level has been my target now but not money I gain from hearts."
'I want to fight and achieve something for my future which generation to come can remember."
Tawiah was a kingpin for the Phobians during the just ended campaign where they finished 3rd in the league and second in the FA Cup competition.
