I Will Campaign For GFA Presidency Seat At The Right Time – Fred Pappoe
Board Member of relegated Accra Great Olympics, Fred Pappoe have given the clearest indication that he will start campaigning the Ghana Football Association presidency seat at the right time.
After the Kwesi Nyantakyi declared his intention not to contest the 2019 Ghana Football Association presidency seat, renowned names in the football fraternity which includes George Afriyie, Kurt Okraku, Kudjoe Fianoo, Osei Kweku Palmer are all in strong contention for the topmost seat.
Despite the strong contention, Pappoe says he will announce his campaign in the right time.
“Yeah it’s fairly possible if am being frank with you, it’s very possible at the right time I will start campaigning.” He told Kumasi based Angel FM.
“For now whatever it is in football, is no secret because people know it, but there is no need for me to have offences now. If I make my decisions, I will tell myself.
“It’s highly possible but there is a lot of things which we are learning from and takes a whole discussion, but you will also appreciate that there are certain factors which are internal that we caused it and there are other external factors but we are learning from it just that we haven’t finished.” He added.
