Former Ghanaian international, Mohammed Ahmed Polo is adamant of Black Starlets victory over Niger.

The Starlets will play Niger in the round of 16 in the ongoing FIFA U-17 World Cup earlier today at the Mumbai National Sports Stadium.

The former Hearts of Oak gaffer stressed that he is happy that Ghana will be facing a West African side in the shape of Niger which they have played before.

“I am happy we are still in the competition and fortunately for us, we are playing an African side we have played before so this shouldn’t be a problem for us at all,” Polo told footballmadeinghana.com

“Despite the fact that we have not been impressive in the tournament, we must beat Niger. The coach must talk to them and uplift their game.”

“I don’t think Ghana deserve to win the tournament if they win then it is luck but for performance wise, they don’t deserve it. Even the Gabon team were far better than this team.” He added.
